The Tratterhof is not only ideal for couples and solo travellers, but also a popular hotel for families in the Gitschberg Jochtal hiking area. The rustic Altfasstal valley begins directly behind the hotel, a pearl for leisurely family hikes or more challenging tours. At the Kneipp course at the entrance to the car-free valley or directly at the head of the valley a few kilometres further on, children will find a true paradise to let off steam. The hero of the Tratterhof, who is made of silver stone and has his home on the mount Gitschberg. Equipped with superpowers that make him the protector of the Tratterhof.

The small and quick cuddly chamois is Silver's best friend and regularly comes from the mount Wilde Kreuzspitze to the Tratterhof, where the delicious apple strudel is her elixir of life. Together with Silver, she has the most exciting adventures every day.

Our holiday region is best explored with Silver and Silvy's hiking map.

Here, every child stages themselves as a football star or challenges their friends to talented target competitions at the basket.

Skill and concentration are required here and no cheating is allowed when counting points.

Many a good mountaineer started on the climbing wall to follow in the footsteps of the famous Reinhold Messner.

Enough space to lunge and set square points...Ping Pong promotes movement, concentration and coordination.

At the foosball table, the little ones challenge their friends or even dare to play a match against their parents who haven't played for a long time.

Over 100 exciting games to play alone or compete against an equal opponent...the touch screen gamestation is calling out to be browsed.

The puck floats across the playing field at lightning speed and makes for an action-packed game for two. Who has the quicker reaction? Who scores the most goals with the pusher?

For reading Silver and Silvy's adventures, colouring in the colouring books or just to relax a little, the Chill Lounge is cosy and brings new ideas.

Silvy, our little climbing chamois lives on the Wilden Kreuzspitze above the lake Wilden See. But when she stays overnight at the Tratterhof, she wants it to be just as cosy. That's why the Tratterhof has simply replicated her house in Skyland. As her luxury residence, so to speak.

For the smallest of the little ones, this segregated course is the Eldorado of playfulness and all without risk of injury.

In the Skyland cinema, the young audience is surrounded by the colourful light of the cosy corners and spotlights and listens to the dialogue of their screen heroes in Dolby Surround. Here you can immerse yourself in the cheerful world of cartoon legends and Hollywood blockbusters several times a day.

Children can also gain their first experience of the effects of the sauna here at the Tratterhof.

The Tratterhof is known among the Belvita Leading Wellness Hotels South Tyrol for its dreamlike Adults Only Spa, which extends over more than 4,000 m2. This world of peace and relaxation is off-limits for children. For this reason, the Tratterhof also has the Monte Silva Family Spa, so that the whole family can also enjoy water and sauna fun together.

Our indoor pool right next to the beauty farm is the perfect place to wake up in the morning before breakfast or to linger in the afternoon on the cosy loungers in sleep or reading mode.

Our infinity pool is probably the most photographed fun element. Why? It's simple: from here, it's very easy to capture impressive views of the Dolomite mountains. The pool is heated in both summer and winter and invites you to relax and linger.

The whole family can spend relaxing time together here. Enjoyed to the right extent and under the supervision of adults who are familiar with saunas, the kids gain their first experiences in this feel-good world.

The most ingenious thing about the Almencard: In certain summer periods the Gitschberg and Jochtal mountain lifts are free of charge for our guests. Families can reach the two children's parks at the mountain stations with the gondola, and mountaineers can start their alpine hike at over 2,000 metres.
