Water World in the Family Spa
In the new, light-flooded water area of the Tratterhof Mountain Sky Hotel, families can experience wellness in a whole new way – playful, lively, and full of joy. The Family Area is dedicated entirely to young and old water lovers alike, harmoniously combining fun and relaxation.
On the upper floor, the baby pool invites the little ones to splash around while parents relax on cozy loungers and let their gaze wander over the Dolomites through the large panoramic windows. One floor below, the Teeny Fun Pool with a basketball hoop brings movement and laughter, and on the spectacular T-Wave Water Slide and T-Tornado, action is guaranteed.
Whether you’re playing together, laughing your way down the wave slide, or simply enjoying the moment – in the new Family Area, relaxation and adventure merge into a truly special family experience. That’s what wellness with children feels like at the Tratterhof.
Saunas at our family spa
In our family wellness area, in addition to the indoor swimming pool, you will find two special heat attractions. The newly designed biosauna with panoramic views offers a pleasant 60 °C – perfect for those who enjoy dry warmth but find the Finnish sauna a bit too intense. This sauna can be entered wearing clothing and is also suitable for children, who can enjoy their very first sauna experience here. This is what family wellness in South Tyrol feels like.
For gentle deep warmth, there is also the infrared cabin. The soothing infrared rays are especially beneficial for the back, improve circulation, stimulate metabolism, and support recovery after physical activity.
Family parks at lofty heights
It’s so wonderful that the nature around our hotel in Meransen offers everything you could need. For example, why not take a walk to Großberghütte or to the end of the valley in rustic Valle di Altafossa/Altfasstal, where Pranter Stadlhütte and Wieserhütte await you? It’s also a perfect walk for children. If you’re looking for something more demanding, hike on from there to the three Seefeld lakes.
Little ones particularly love the children’s parks on Monte Cuzzo/Gitschberg and in Jochtal. Magical playgrounds in the fresh air with a view of the Dolomites and the Fundres/Pfunderer mountains.
