Philosophy of the Culina Alpina

The cuisine at the Tratterhof

Discover the philosophy of the Culina Alpina at your Gourmethotel Tratterhof!

In harmony with nature, traditional and Mediterranean delicacies, refined with alpine herbs and spices from our own herb garden, become refined dishes. The attention to detail of the chef de cuisine and his team is always noticeable: whether it is a romantic candlelight dinner or a traditional South Tyrolean evening.

Everything tastes wonderful here!

  • Daily rich breakfast buffet with breakfast cook for your egg dishes: The mountain idyll breakfast buffet not only consists of South Tyrolean quality products, but also of a wide variety of fresh fruit, special vitality and yoghurt drinks, and home-baked corn breads.
  • Lunch snack from 1 pm (not included in the half pension price): A soup or pasta dish gives the small appetite in between no chance.
  • Cake and soup in the afternoon from 3 pm: Our kitchen team conjures up the most delicious cakes and tarts every day. The speciality of the house is the preparation of the South Tyrolean apple strudel, which is so delicious that there is usually nothing left in the late afternoon.
  • Daily 5-course menu of choice: Dinner begins with an aperitif platter at the hotel bar, followed by a rich salad and starter buffet. At the table you will already find a homemade bread roll and a homemade spread. This tastes delicious with the antipasti! Then choose between soup and juice, followed by a warm starter, then the main course and finally the dessert! At the hotel bar you will then find a fantastic cheese buffet.
  • A vegetarian menu, homemade natural food, various products from local farmers, farmhouse bread, once a week Italian or Tyrolean evening or barbecue evening, once a week candlelight dinner with background music
  • Welcome aperitif on Monday with wonderful appetizers
  • Gluten-free and lactose-free menu on request
